La Colita

La Colita, which means "little tail", is a fabulous single family home with private pool tucked away in the woods of Harbert. If you want to sit in the outdoor porch, surrounded by trees and watch the kids play in the pool, you don't have to look any further.
 
This house calls out relaxation. The property is set in a wooded area, very quiet and private. The owners had the foresight to grab up the lots on either side of the house so there is a ton of room for outdoor games and no worry of neighbors intruding on your time.
 
This shaker home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The kitchen and living area are set as one wide open space on the main floor. 2 bedrooms (both queen beds) are on the main floor and they open out to the fenced in area of yard where the pool is set. There is a large screened-in porch off of the house and pool area where you can enjoy the evenings or sit by and watch the action by the pool.
 
The master bedroom (queen) is upstairs in the loft area. There is a sitting area outside of the bedroom where you can watch some TV or sit in the large bedroom and unwind with a book. The house is filled with collectible furniture and décor and gives off a very casual, relaxing atmosphere.
 
If you tire of the heated pool, a walk of a few blocks will put you at the Harbert Beach. If you want a house off the beaten path but with all the perks of a summer home, you won't find something more appropriate than La Colita.
