DESCRIPTION:
A name can really speak for a house. Flip Flop Inn is truly a casual home for your family to relax in the middle of Union Pier. The house has a casual, summery feel all the way down to the old styled blue fridge in the kitchen.
The house sits 2 streets off of the lake right by a deeded access point in Union Pier. You can spend your time sitting outside on the screened-in front porch or eat your meals and gather on the deck which runs along the side the house. The main floor holds one large room containing the family and living areas and the kitchen. You can access either porch from the main area. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor along with 3 full baths.
There are stairs leading to the loft upstairs where there is plenty of sleeping space for the kids to get away or play. Spiral stairs will take you to the basement where there is another living room to relax and another bedroom. Plenty of space to relax and have some privacy.
The outside of the house has a small fire pit to roast marshmallows in the summer and an outdoor shower to clean off from playing in the lake which is only a few steps away. A short walk will put you at Timothy’s for dinner. If you are looking to remove yourself from your hectic schedule and relax for some time in the woodsy, slower paced area of Union Pier, you can’t find a better place to put on some flip flops.
