What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is at 4PM EST and check-out is at 10AM EST.  This window of time is needed to ensure the cleaning crews have ample time to properly clean the property before your arrival.  In rare circumstances exceptions can be made.

How do I access the keys to the property?

All of our properties have either lock boxes or a garage code which will be given a couple of days prior to your stay.  You can then access the property at anytime that you arrive and not need to worry about meeting someone to gain access.

What type of amenities / furnishings are provided?

Each property has a more detailed list of the amenities and furnishings it holds.  We pride ourselves on our homes having everything you need to enjoy your stay.  The kitchen will be fully stocked for cooking, the linens are provided for all the beds and baths, and each property has one or more TV’s, DVD players, and much, much, more.  Please go back to check the individual listing for details.  We truly believe you won’t be disappointed with what we have provided.

Phones, cell phones, and internet?

We understand the need of getting away but still needing to be accessible to work, school, friends and family.  Cell phone coverage can be great or spotty, depending on where you are staying and your provider so all of our properties have phone service with unlimited calling to anywhere in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Italy, France, Spain, UK, and Ireland.  We also provide either a computer with high speed internet or wireless internet access.  Check individual listing pages for specifics.

Pets and smoking?

Smoking is not allowed in any of the properties and remnants of cigarettes outside the property should be disposed of properly before leaving.  Pets are allowed at some of the properties and must be disclosed prior to arrival.  Please check individual listings if pets are allowed and if any fees are applicable.

How do I rent or reserve a property?

Start by going to the 'List Properties" page. On the left you will see a calendar. Choose the check-in date you prefer and how many nights you would like to stay... then click "Search". If the property is available, it will be shown on the right side. You can reserve the property right there or you can click on the image of each property for more information, and reserve the property from there. When you have made your decision to reserve the property, click "Check Out", and that will begin your registration process.

Check out the listings you are interested in and the availability of dates and give us a call at 773.410.0389 or dan.saunders@yahoo.com.  Let us know which property you would like to stay at and, if still available, we can mail or e-mail a rental agreement for you to sign and send back.  Once a signed contract and deposit are received, you will have firm booking for your rental.  The remainder of the balance will be billed approximately 3 weeks prior to your arrival.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a deposit is required to hold your time. A deposit is typically ½ of the total rental amount including cleaning fee and/or pet charge.

What is the cancellation policy?

In the event you need to cancel the reservation at least 30 days prior to the arrival date and the Property is re-booked, 100% of the deposit is refunded, If the premises are not re-booked or you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date, the deposit is non-refundable, and the full rental amount is due, and will be billed to your credit card. Refunds will be sent back within one week of notice.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Credit Cards, Check or Cash.  We do require a credit card on file to confirm your deposit and/or charge the full rental amount.

Are there any other fees involved?

Possibly.  Cleaning fees are listed on the individual property page and are normally associated with the rental price.  Pets, cribs, and/or any applicable taxes may be charged for your stay.  These charges will be explicitly detailed on your rental agreement prior to your acceptance and reservation.  In case of damages / breakage / abuse to a property, fees may be associated and charged to your credit card after your stay.

Rental timeframes

During the summer months of June, July, and August, properties are exclusively rented on a week by week basis.  Multiple weeks are normally feasible based upon availability.  During the rest of the year, weekend rentals and longer are gladly reserved with possible 3 night minimums during special holiday weekends.
